How Does Hypnotherapy Work?
During a session, I’ll guide you into a deeply relaxed, daydream-like state which is much like the feeling you get just before falling asleep. In this space, your conscious mind takes a backseat, and your subconscious becomes more open and receptive.

Each session with me is completely personalised to you and what we have spoken about in an our initial consultation session, but here’s a general idea of what you can expect:

You’ll share what’s going on for you — the challenges you’re facing, and the changes you’d like to see. Together, we will set an intention for the session.
2. You Enter a Relaxed State
I guide you into a calm, focused state of awareness. You’ll feel deeply relaxed, like you are floating between sleep and wakefulness, yet fully conscious.
3. We Work with the Subconscious
Using gentle, positive suggestion and visualisation, we’ll speak directly to your subconsciouswhere long-term change becomes possible.
4. We Reflect and Integrate
Afterwards, we’ll chat about your experience and how to carry your insights into everyday life. Many clients say they feel lighter, clearer and more themselves after just one session.
FAQs — Let’s Bust Some Myths
Will I lose control?
No. Hypnosis is not about controlling you — you’re always aware and can come out of the relaxed state at any time.
Will I remember what happens?
Yes. Most people remember everything from the session, though some details may feel dreamy or fuzzy (which is completely normal).
How many sessions will I need?
That depends on your goals. Some clients see shifts after just one session; others prefer a short series to work through deeper patterns. We’ll find the right path together.
